Aboriginal Art Japingka

We have some very exciting news! Bina Maya are steadily working on finishing our reception and art gallery space at Bina Maya Yallingup Escape. Bina Maya Gallery will be completed in early 2020, with a sneak peak soft opening on January 4th 2020. We are delighted to announce that in collaboration with Japingka , some of their beautiful artworks will soon be on show at our new Bina Maya Gallery.

Our new Australian Aboriginal Art gallery space will represent some of the most exciting artists. Artists creating stories from their Indigenous culture and experience. The paintings are supplied by artists from all areas of Australia. The artworks reflect the diversity of regions, languages and cultures where the artists live and work.

 Japingka Aboriginal Art (formerly Japingka Gallery) have been operating in Fremantle since 1984. The gallery directors have 30 years’ experience working with contemporary Aboriginal artists. Artworks are ethically sourced, and Japingka Aboriginal Art is an active member of both Aboriginal Art Association of Australia and the Australian Federal Government’s Indigenous Art Code. Both these industry organisations promote fair trade practices and ethical standards for the Aboriginal art industry.

Japingka Aboriginal Art presents 12 new exhibitions per year, chosen from Indigenous emerging and established communities and artists. Bina Maya in collaboration with Japingka will bring the South West a selection of these art works from our Gallery at Bina Maya Yallingup Escape.
