Bina Maya Yallingup Escape is absolutely delighted to announce our Aboriginal Art Gallery in Yallingup is open. We held a soft opening in early January 2020 where around 50 of our friends, guests, colleagues & local businesses came to view the Aboriginal Art. To say we are excited about our collaboration with Japingka is an understatement. Japingka has been associated with Aboriginal art through its Directors for over thirty years. We are committed to fair and ethical trading in all our dealings with Aboriginal art and artists.
At the opening, Ian Plunket the director and curator of Japingka introduced the art and the stories behind the pieces. In typical Bina Maya style, prosecco and cheese were had by all. We were also delighted to welcome the attendance of Catrin Allsop, CEO of Australia’s Southwest
Our new Yallingup Aboriginal Art Gallery ” Bina Maya Gallery” showcases a hand picked selection by Japingka of fine Indigenous art from all over Australia. The range of art we have for sale can be viewed in detail here We have smaller pieces starting at $240 and some larger stunning award winning pieces also
The Bina Maya Gallery is on site at Bina Maya Yallingup Escape and is open 10- 3 Monday-Friday and by appointment on weekends. We plan to use the space for some beautiful intimate dinners and corporate events. Get in touch with Sara or Tim to discuss further.
