Elopement in the Margaret River Region is red hot right now. It’s something we’ve been offering at Bina Maya Yallingup Escape for the last couple of years. I know I know we’re so ahead of ourselves! Seeing as Covid has been ruining weddings for almost a year to the day, we thought we’d share the down low on your perfect Yallingup Elopement.
Yallingup, place of love, kissed by beautiful beaches, surrounded by stunning wineries, what better place to say your “I dos.” However, planning a wedding is stressful enough, never mind having to pay for 30 extra meals for aunts, uncles and cousins you haven’t seen for 10 years. Who wants to do that? We say don’t. Run away and elope! Pick your people, your favourite people. The people in your life everyday. If Covid has taught us anything (besides our ability to watch an appalling amount of Netflix) is that your closest are all that matters. When you don’t spend all your money on over a hundred meals you can prioritise things like reserve wine and fabulous food. And lets face it, that’s what we’re all about down this way.
We’ve been incredibly lucky to team up with some dream vendors. Now I can’t really pick a favourite elopement at Bina Maya but we’ve had a few stand outs. Alyssa and Callum had their wedding plans foiled by Covid not once, but twice. So when Alyssa’s parents came to visit us at Bina Maya scoping a possible elopement alternative it all seemed to fall into place. Their original Tuscan dream wedding was to be the inspiration for their intimate occasion at Bina Maya. Together with the very talented Brodie from the Bib Approach their vision came to light. Staying the in luxury Villa and Residence Alyssa and Callum had Bina Maya to themselves to host a stylist’s elopement fantasy on the lawn with 8 of their favourite people. Texture, tones, lighting; their elopement exuded splendour. Breathtaking. See for yourself.
