Our New Luxury Villa

Outdoor bath forest red wine

Our New Luxury Villa is finally complete. We finally got there. I certainly do not recommend building in a pandemic. It’s really not ideal, however using legend and trusted friend Adrian Zorzi to no one’s surprise the build is just stunning. Similar in layout to Villa One, but with some fine tuning and extra luxe features. We’ve been welcoming our first guests since its completion mid May and the feedback has been fantastic.

Why

We’ve been planning this new villa for sometime and thanks to the gift of Covid we’ve been able to ponder every detail. The plan was always to offer our guests 3 accommodation options it was all about timing. After 4 years in operation and seeing us booking out year round and with such a great increase in repeat guests we knew we were doing something right. Before jumping into the build, we surveyed a sample of our guests and asked a range of questions on what they loved about Bina Maya’s current Villa and what improvements could be made. We were so overwhelmed that almost all of our guests said not to change a thing about the design.

What’s new and what’s not

Bearing that in mind, but in keeping with design trends of the current year, little differences make the new Villa feel even more luxe. Our minimalist design with whites timbers, greys and warm tones allow a cohesiveness with the surrounding forest. As previous, the Villa has 2 identical master king bedrooms with ensuites and the Villa may be booked as a one bedroom, the perfect couples retreat. Ensuites both have freestanding baths, and separate rain water showers. Tiling this time is a beautiful warm concrete. Underfloor bathroom heating of course features again. Tapware is in gun metal and vanity design is sleek in Boston oak.

The adjacent courtyards now have outdoor showers ideal for washing off after a surf. The quintessential Italian made leather couch from Merlino is made for lazing and still makes me swoon in it’s presence. The Morso woodfire was a no brainer to add again. We love. The fully equipped kitchen has more warm oak tones throughout. The hidden laundry again features as its just too convenient. The balcony has a cosy outdoor lounge nook perfect for taking in the surrounding forest. A gas weber is ideal for the perfect holiday bbq steak and; lastly a stunning black stone outdoor bath to soak away your troubles amongst the trees and the stars.

Thank you

We cannot believe the support our guests and the Region has been giving us over this new addition to Bina Maya. To that end we only have a handful of weekends left this year. If Villa Two or any of our Villas (Villa One and Residence) are what you are looking for in your next luxury self-catering holiday, get in touch. We look forward to welcoming you.
