Dunsborough. Does it get any better? Well yes apparently, with the welcome addition of some fabulous new places to wine and dine.
Myself and the other half, thought we’d treat ourselves to a grown up’s night out. Forgetting is was Valentine’s day (because that’s not how we role) we got organised and booked ahead. First stop, Lady Lola Bar. Newly opened and in good company next to Yarri and Blue Manna, this deli, bar bistro is cute as a button. Negroni? Yes. A variety of spritzes nice; we went with the Lady Lola rose as it was a stunning balmy evening. Food is a selection of delicious share plates. Amongst others, we went with the vitello tonnato, cured salmon, burrata with prosciutto, and octopus. Honestly, all dishes were a perfect harmony of texture and tasty. Would highly recommend and we’ll be back for sure.
Next stop? We walked around the corner to Bungalow Social for a cheeky beverage. As tempting as the woodfired pizzas looked, we were full of Lola goodness, but margaritas? Absolutely sold. Music playing, buzzing with locals and tourists alike, whilst sipping on salty tequila goodness; the atmosphere felt like holidays should.
Onwards to Har Bar. Quickly becoming the locals favourite, so I’m told, we crunched our way over peanut shells into how a bar should be. Dim lighting, quirky decor, jazz &blues playing and a super friendly warm welcome by the bartender. The whiskey sours looked too good to be passed up. I’m just spewing I didn’t get a second as the first went down far too easily. All in all the perfect night out.
Seriously, great work Dunsborough, we were hanging out for some more evening entertainment and you nailed it.
