Margaret River is Open (& we are so happy)

margaret river is open

Well, that was an interesting few months wasn’t it? Have you all been dreaming of your Margaret River Escape? The news that the WA boarders were opening to allow our beautiful Perth peeps to visit the Margaret River Region was music to our ears. Bina Maya is open and we couldn’t be happier. Nowhere could be safer to escape to than the South West. Its a social distancer’s dream come true. Plentiful beaches, stunning forest walks, surrounded by wineries, yes yes and yes please.

Guests coming to visit the Margaret River Region will notice that we have a new normal happening. We don’t want to get ahead of ourselves and we want to keep welcoming you all. Our fabulous friends at Margaret River are updating their list of what’s open, how things are operating and whats waiting for phase three (in July) daily.

Escaping douth this time of year is what it’s all about. We were made for the cooler autumn & winter months. Morning bush walks, lunchtime beach dips, endless country drives & lazy afternoons by the woodfire. When  the cool evening roles in, open up a bottle of red, enjoy dinner with an obscene amount of Yallingup Wood-fired bread, then crank the fire pit and get toasting those marshmallows.

For those of you missing your favourite winery lunches, things are a little different. Most wineries are open for sales, but without tastings. Some wineries with restaurants are operating with reduced hours and with the 20 person limit (with two sittings) so please phone ahead to avoid disappointment. Fabulously, you can order takeaway  from a variety of restaurants that still aren’t able to accommodate dining in, some are even delivering!

So pack your bags, keep your distance, wash your hands and support small businesses that have had it tough.

See you soon!
